“Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockland County is pleased to present an Introduction to Backyard Chickens, on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, from 6:00pm until 7:30pm at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Education Center, 10 Patriot Hills Drive, Stony Point, New York. Presentation highlights include a discussion of Town rules and regulations related to backyard chicken-keeping; getting started with chicks or hens; housing, feeding and watering needs; weather and predator concerns; and much more. This class is open to all ages and the cost is $10.00 per person.
