Free Lecture: Millstream–The Garden of H. Lincoln and Laura Louise Foster

Horticulturist Tamsin Goggin presents an intimate view of Millstream, the celebrated garden of the Fosters. Miss Goggin was the only person to assist in planning and preserving their six-acre garden in northwestern Connecticut, which featured alpine and woodland plants thoughtfully designed with ecological principles in mind. She shares images, plant profiles and personal letters from “Linc” about working with and observing nature. Lecture is followed by a tour of the T.H. Everett Alpine House with Wave Hill Gardener Gelene Scarborough.
