Bill- Thanks for including me in your region;I feel included and have designed a number of landscapes and gardens in Westchester over the years. My business name is Horticultural Design,Inc.
Yes, on Saturday,August 2, from 2-6pm, the Brine Garden is part of the Garden Conservancy's Open Days Program.
You can discover that information along with a lot else on http://www.gardenlarge.com.
In the fall, I'm doing a on-site seminar with The New England Wildflower Society and this Saturday, I'm speaking at a symposium, "Garden Inspiration", at the Otesaga Resort in Cooperstown,NY.
Perhaps you're in the mood for a scenic drive and a stay at a unique and scenic resort this Mother's Day weekend. Some interesting garden talk would be a bonus.
Look forward to meeting you-

Hi Duncan. Nice to hear from you -- I feel as though I know you after those nice pieces in the Times and Hudson Valley mag. Your garden has been on my radar for a while and I'd love to visit sometime. Are you on the Open Days Program again this year? I didn't realize you're from Rye originally. That makes you "local" for us and fair game for a story, even though you're outside the paper's normal readership area.
