‘Ogon’ Spirea

My ‘Ogon’ spirea bush turns a wonderful shade of orange this time of year.

You get variations of red, yellow and orange all at the same time.

Here’s how it looked in May. Great plant, no?

It really lights up everything around it. And I had no idea it would yield such great fall colors, too.
I like the deep red-purple colors in azalea bushes right now, too. (Although I must say these puny azaleas in New York are nothing like the monster ones I remember in the South.)
