Phillis Warden’s Garden — the Video

Yesterday was a perfect day for a garden tour. Did anyone go on the Open Days one?

I had a TV piece on Phillis’ garden that ran Friday. We’re now able to post video links on our blogs, so here goes. Just click on the TV image above and the video should play.

Kudos to photographer (and now videographer) Mark Vergari for the camera work.

Here’s a “link”:http://gardening.lohudblogs.com/2007/07/19/phillis-wardens-garden/ to earlier blog post about the Warden garden and a “link”:http://www.thejournalnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2007707190316 to my story in the paper from last week.

Loved the video and print piece on Phillis Warden’s garden. It really is a sight to see.

And loved the gas station blog. Yes – I want to see more—if there are any.

About the author
Katie Bill Cary grew up in Louisville, Ky. His gardening was limited to growing parsley and impatiens on the windowsill of Manhattan walkups until the mid-1990s when he bought a rundown old chicken farm on 8 acres in the Hudson Valley. Now he spends his weekends chasing deer, hacking away at invasive shrubs and vines and wondering why he doesn`t have more meadow and less lawn.
